Alfrocheiro is a unique variety Portuguese with quite small bunches and berries, reminiscent of Pinot Noir and Trousseau (Bastardo), to which it is genetically related, so we like to think of it as the “Pinot of Portugal”.
With its ruby red colour, this fresh and lively Gamay reveals aromas of red fruit with a slightly spicy finish. Superb Summer drinking and can be served lightly chilled.
