Sprankel is composed of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from some of Babylonstoren's finest vineyard plots. The wine's extending lees ageing in bottle really brings out the quality of the fruit, while adding layers of complexity and a glorious mousse of bubbles.
Straw yellow in colour, Sprankel's bouquet suggests ripe golden apple, zesty citrus fruits and biscuity-brioche notes. In the mouth it is fresh and fruity, with a lively crisp balance.
