"Bright pale yellow gold, this has lovely freshness and energy. The fullness on the palate is balanced by ripe acidity and the rich rounded palate has a super mineral finish. A beautifully made wine that can be enjoyed on its own or served alongside dishes as an alternative to white Burgundy."
Jean-René Germanier is regarded as one of Switzerland’s top producers. Founded in 1886 it is one of the oldest Swiss wineries, the company is now headed by 3rd generation Jean-René and his nephew Gilles Besse. Their Fendant Les Terrases Chasselas perfectly illustrates the schist soil of the hillsides of the Vétroz vineyard. Structure, freshness and minerality are the three pillars that make up this wine.
