Gyéjacquot Fréres (jee -ay- jack-o) is a family grower champagne house located in the quiet village of Celles-sur-Ource in the Côte des Bar region of Champagne. Their vineyards consist of 20 different plots across 4 municipalities planted on the Kimmeridgean soils. The estate is run by brothers Cyril and Frederic Gyejacquot and we are very impressed with their champagnes and their pursuit of quality.
Charles Simon was created by a celebrated family friend and neighbour who used to supply the Gyejacquot family with grapes. Over time, the friend stepped back and the family took over the assets.
