""Pale white with a hint of straw. Floral, rounded and inviting nose with a hint of grapefruit. The palate has a lovely core and is both restrained and generous. An attractive tight finish. This is perfect current drinking." Aidan Bell, October 2019"
The Rothschild family are pre-eminent in the world of wine and have holdings and estates in the finest wine regions across the globe. Baron Benjamin, son and heir to Baron Edmund de Rothschild, purchased 24 hectares of prime vineyards in Marlborough, New Zealand and works with Terry Peabody of Craggy Range to produce an excellent Sauvignon Blanc.
The wine comes from a single vineyard called Rimapere, which is Maori for "5 arrows", the logo of the Rothschild family. This is a lovely full flavoured Sauvignon Blanc with all the typicity you would expect from New Zealand.
