"Le Muraie is a Valpolicella Ripasso produced by the second fermentation of the Valpolicella Classsico Superiore on the Recioto skins, full of the special sweet wine. The result is a mature, full-bodied wine, smooth and rounded in taste. Named after the excellent vineyard from which the fruit is sourced."
The Recchia family have been making wines in the heart of Valpolicella for over 100 years. Riccardo-Guido, Chiara, Enrico, Roberto, Elisa and Luca Recchia are the current custodians of the family estates and continue to invest strongly in their properties and wine making facilities. Their Valpolicella vineyards are found in the villages of Negrar, Marano, San Pietro in Cariano, Fumane and Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella. In 1987 the family extended their holdings to Garda purchasing a property in the commune of Castelnuovo del Garda, here they produce classic Bardolino, Bardolino Chiaretto and Bianco de Custoza.
