This superb 17-year-old Springbank has matured in rum and bourbon casks, before being finished in Madeira casks for another three years. On the nose, lovely aromas of fresh apples, red berries, lemons and strawberry jam. Plenty more strawberries on the palate, followed by hints of rum raisins, honey, cherries, crushed black pepper and a touch of ginger. Bottles produced: 9200.
