"The classic Morgon from Lapierre comes from old vines, with an average age of 70 years. This cuvee is unfiltered and has very light SO2 addition prior to bottling. Combining lightness and richness, it has an aging potential of around ten years on average."
Now run by Marcel’s children, Mathieu and Camille, today this 18 hectare estate is over 100 years old and the vineyards have been cultivated biodynamically since the 1980s. In addition to the flagship Morgon Cuvee Vieilles Vignes, they also made a very small amount of their site-specific Cuvee Camille and Cuvee Marcel Lapierre, only made in the best years
