Made from 100% Chardonnay from a single vintage, this elegant and sophisticated wine was the first style produced by Nyetimber in the early 1990's and has won multiple awards throughout it's history. The travelling DBM team were split between this and the Tillington as their favourite wine of the trip!
"Light gold colour and fine bubbles, this is immediately impressive. A mixture of floral blossom and orchard fruits on the nose, with hints of vanilla underneath. On the palate, generous shortbread, hazlenut and baked pastry notes are harmoniously complemented by a refreshing green apple and lemon acidity. Seriously impressive. Can drink now - can put away for some time. Super fine"
