Wonderfully decadent, this unique ice cider is also extremely limited in its availability, with only one barrel having been produced from the 2014 vintage. Indeed, it’s actually an accident of previous harvests, the barrel having been left in a corner and found again – and the magic within – when cleaning out the cellar.
Bottled In 2022, this is a very special reserve of Eden’s flagship Heirloom Blend ice cider aged in French oak Chardonnay barrel for seven years. Lusciously oxidized, decadently sweet, yet with a persistent backbone of acidity that elevates this unique dessert cider to a whole new level.
Made from the following apple varieties: Roxbury Russett, Calville Blanc, Cox’s Orange Pippin, Hudson’s Golden Gem, Ashmead’s Kernel, Esopus, Spitzenberg, Empire Baldwin, McIntosh, Black Oxford, Belle de Boskoop,Blue Pearmain, Rhode Island Greening, Winesap, Newtown Pippin, Zabergau Reinette.
