Rockburn was established in the then little-known region of Central Otago in 1991. In 2005, winemaker Malcolm Francis arrived from Felton Road where his skills immediately reaped the rewards when he won the Elite Gold Medal. The estate Pinot Noir is fast gaining a reputation as one of the finest produced in Central Otago.
