This Whiskey from Green Spot being aged in a combination of Bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks and then with a finishing period in Bordeaux wine casks (which is a worlds first for an Irish whiskey) these Bordeaux casks previously held Chateau Leoville Barton Saint Julien wine. The sweetness works well with the drier notes from the wine cask.
