"Rating : Decanter 91/100
« Abundant, plush and lush fruit is deftly layered with spicy black pepper, warming spice and sweet, fine oak aromas. The attractive, classic palate is brimming with violet and dark chocolate, while framed with fine oak tannins. » (Decanter World Wine Awards 2016)"

This tiny parcel of their 2014 vintage release is something of a rarity among affordable Shiraz – it’s a masterpiece of elegance and restraint! In fact, it almost tastes like it could hail from the northern Rhone – think Crozes Hermitage or St-Joseph. Perhaps because it’s not your typical mouth-bruising blockbuster, we have snapped it up at the very appealing price of just £8.99 a bottle.
The 2014 vintage was one where nature threw every possible event at the Barossa; rain, frost and scorching temperatures, yet all occurred at fortuitous times and the vintage has given us some splendid wines – albeit in more of a cool-climate style than usual.
