"James Suckling 93/100
The smoke, black-tea and dark-berry aromas and flavors are really impressive. Hints of coffee. Full body, firm yet lightly rounded tannins and a flavorful finish. Hard not to drink now. Pure Malbec. No wood. Drink now.

Dark Berry fruit nose, lovely chocolaty palate and svelte tannins, beautifully balanced for current drinking and a great price."
ARUMA is produced by Bodegas Caro, a joint venture between Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and Nicolas Catena, two of the most distinguished wine families in the world. Aruma is pure Malbec made from the best terroirs within the Uco Valley around the region of Lujan de Cuyo in the Mendoza region. Introduced in 2010, Aruma is made from hand harvested fruit and is produced in a plush juicy style balancing elegance and power. Meticulous attention to detail in the vineyard, and winery, brings an outstanding complexity, elegance and depth of flavour to this excellent wine.
"ARUMA" means "night" in the language of the Quechua, the native Indian population of the Mendoza region. The name reflects the deep darkness of the nights in the Andes and the very pure mountain air: the wines have the same rich, authentic character as their terroir.
