Tasting Notes

'Mid Depth ruby purple with graduated rim. Soft, fleshy red and black fruits with nice sunshiny ripeness, warm attractive fruit with good grip of tannins to follow. Nice length and punches well above its weight for a Bordeaux AC - Great Value' Susan McCraith MW 


Vineyard Information

Chateau les Agate (ag-at) is in the village of Camiran, Entre deux Mers and composed of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. The Vineyard is owned and run by Daniel and Corine Mercier who as well as being skillful winemakers, are strident voices for the support of smaller Bordeaux growers.
