"90 Jeb Dunnuck, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2016 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Caramany comes from higher elevation sites and is two-thirds Syrah and one-third Carignan that was mostly destemmed and aged all in concrete tanks. It has lots of mineral characteristics as well as notes of ripe red and black fruits, medium-bodied richness, impeccable balance and fine tannin. I like its elegance, and it has a complex, nuanced style (which is rare for a young barrel sample), suggesting it’s going to drink nicely in its youth."
