The Varner brothers are famed for their eponymous 'Varner' Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Paso Robles. Alongside their flagship range they also produce everyday drinking wines under their 'Foxglove' labels. Beginning with their first vintage in 1991, Bob Varner sources the grapes from a variety of places, all of which are along the Central Coast. Mild winters, cool, foggy summers, and clay-loam soils produce a combination of flavors that have been described as "textbook Central Coast." The three Foxglove wines are unoaked to preserve freshness of each varietal.
