This has been racked. Noticeably deeper and more youthful in colour than the Corton Perrières, a powerful purple. The fruit is full of energy, high octane perhaps but not burning. Indeed, this is very good on the palate, with the rich deep raspberry fruit covering the structure and extending well at the finish. 14.2% alcohol. Tasted Oct 2021."

Christine Dubreuil began picking on 20th August, having advanced the date. Reds follow on nicely from 2019 she thinks, preferring them to 2018. The whites yielded around 45-50 hl/ha and were bottled in early September, while the reds will not be bottled until early 2022. Some had been racked but some of those which had not yet been were in a difficult state to read. The generic wines and white Pernand will be bottled under DIAM, the rest with traditional cork.
