"92 Points - John Gillman, ViewfromtheCellar.com
Jean-Michel Chartron’s 2023 Saint Aubin “Perrières” is a fine, fine bottle in the making. The wine delivers a classy bouquet of pear, apple, lime zest, spring flowers, vanillin oak and a complex foundation of chalky minerality. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and complex, with a beautiful core of the vintage’s perfectly ripe fruit, lovely soil undertow, bouncy acids and fine balance on the long, complex and nicely precise finish. This will be approachable right out of the gates, but really deserves at least a couple of years in the cellar to allow its secondary layers of complexity to start to emerge. 2027-2045+."
