Deep garnet colored, the 2010 La Dominique is scented of pencil lead, menthol and leather with a core of black cherry compote, stewed plums and dried mulberries. Medium to full-bodied, it has a sturdy frame of firm, chewy tannins and lively acid supporting the muscular fruit, finishing on a lingering mineral note.Drink Date 2020 - 2037 Published: Mar 05, 2020

The 2010 La Dominique has a far superior bouquet to the 2009, far more generous with ample black cherry, boysenberry and mineral scents, much better than previous bottles that I have encountered. The palate is medium-bodied with espresso-tinged black fruit, fine tannins, a keen thread of acidity and plenty of freshness and focus on the finish. This is leagues above the 2009 La Dominique and comes recommended. Tasted at the vertical tasting at La Dominique. Drinking Window 2021 - 2035, May 2018"
