Sassicaia’s younger brother Guidalberto consistently offers excellent value from the Tenuta San Guido stable. A juicy, sumptuous Super Tuscan, the estate's Merlot vines create a ripe and seductive wine, ideal for early consumption. Indeed, the Merlot handled the high temperatures of the 2020 vintage so well that its proportion in the blend was increased from the usual 40% to 50% this year, aged for 15 months in 80% French oak.
