Alain Loubère won a trial cap for the French Rugby team, he now concentrates on his estate at Labastide in the heart of the Armagnac region. The cuvée Napoleon is raised in new barrels for 36 months and is then moved to more neutral barrels for further maturation. Amber gold in colour the palate retains a lovely weight of fruit and wood spice, beautifully soft and rounded.
