At the summit of a wonderful hill south-west of Montalcino the magnificent Villa of Argiano was built in the Renaissance by the Peccis, a noble family from Siena. In 1992, it was acquired by the Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano. With over 100 hectares the rows of vines alternate with olive groves and meadows surrounded by luxuriant Mediterranean maquis. Winemaker, Hans Vinding-Diers as well as being the partner of the Countess also comes from an illustrious winemaking family, training in Bordeaux at his father Peter’s estate along with his cousin Peter Sisseck of Dominio de Pingus.
