Godello is a white Iberian grape that’s having a moment. The very best one I’ve tasted recently is the glitteringly refreshing Vinos de Altura Gancedo Godello 2024, Bierzo, Spain (13%) – a real joy. Bright and refreshing, this is very pure and lively godello from Bierzo that tastes of lime blossom and citrus with a hint of fresh apricot.
