Inky ruby. Heady, smoke- and spice-accented blackberry, boysenberry and violet aromas show excellent clarity and pick up a hint of olive with air. Sweet and broad on the palate, offering deeply concentrated dark fruit and floral pastille flavors that show surprising energy for their heft. The very long, penetrating finish features firm, minerally cut, an echo of juicy blue fruit and chewy tannins that come in late. Drinking Window 2023 - 2030, reviewed February 2018"
