"Marco Porello Langhe Nebbiolo from Piedmont in northern Italy is a fresh and fruity style of Nebbiolo which is designed for younger drinking. The nose is filled with heady aromas of wild strawberry, violets and crushed cherries which are a real delight. The palate has the structure you’d expect from the grape along with darker fruit notes, lovely spice and balanced acidity and beautifully smooth tannin. The wine does benefit from decanting, if you can resist it for long enough."
