"Allen Meadows, Burghound 89-91 Points
A very pretty red berry fruit nose is trimmed in both oak and freshly turned earth wisps. The succulent, round and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors terminate in a dusty but not really rustic finale. This satisfying effort is very Beaune in style. Anne Parent told me that "… we chose to begin harvesting on the 13th of September and brought in ripe and clean fruit that required some light sorting but nothing major. As to the wines, they are balanced and vibrant, in fact despite the summer warmth, they do not drink like they're the product of a hot vintage."
Domaine Parent, located in Pommard, in the heart of Côte d’Or, is today run by Anne Parent and her sister Catherine Fages-Parent, representing the 12th generation, and perpetuating a family tradition dating back to the 17th century. For some years now, vineyards management has been orientated towards a bio-dynamic and organic approach, Domaine Parent has been certified organic in 2013 (ECOCERT Certification).
