Chateau Gemaillan is the family passion of Adrien and Fabienne Uijtewaal. Adrien, a Dutch farmer and his young wife Fabienne, decided this estate, at the far end of Médoc, was the perfect place to lay down roots and begin their life together . On the fertile meadows they began raising cattle, but on the shallow poor, gravel soils, they planted vines – and since their first harvest in 1995, this estate has been widely recognized for its consistent quality and dedication to sustainable agriculture and stewardship of their land.
