"A bright ruby coloured wine that reveals an exuberance on the nose marked by the red fruit aroma together with the floral hint typical from Touriga Nacional. Medium-bodied and smooth, confirms the fruit aroma, with an attractive freshness sensation and elegant tannins with a rich finish. 6 Months in barrel, 35% Touriga Nacional, 35% Alfrocheiro, 30% Tinta Roriz."
Produced by ‘Nuno Cancela de Abreu’, whose family can trace their winemaking origins back over 130 years. The family company Boas Quintas expanded significantly in 2010 to produce wines from a wide number of regions in Portugal, but Dao is the historical centre of their operations and Nuno has received numerous awards for his wines, including in 2016 being named winemaker of year.
