"92 Points, Markus del Monego MW
Intense purple colour with violet hue. Very elegant and expressive nose, very pure fruit, blackcurrants and blackberries, hints of raspberries in the background and discreet toasting. A whiff of vanilla and discreet floral hints in the background. On the palate well-structured with balanced tannins, good aromatic length, very appealing finish, a very elegant and classic Cissac style, however interpreted in a contemporary way.

Deep colour with attractive black fruit and floral notes on the nose, the palate has a supple texture with lovely freshness and very attractive layers of fruit. A classic with very well polished tannins. 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec"
Located in the village of Cissac between St Estephe and Pauillac, Louis Vialard took over Château Cissac in 1940, dedicating himself to the property and its vineyards. Louis has now left the hard work to his talented daughter Danielle, inheriting the wine making traits of her ancestors, keeping the wine traditional but with a more modern approach and Marie, his grand daughter is closely following in her Aunt's footsteps.
