Since 1996 this property has been owned by Sylviane Garcin-Cathiard, sister of Daniel Cathiard, the owner of Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte. She also owns Chateau Haut Bergey in Léognan and the Pomerol property Clos L’Eglise.
Of the 5 hectares, only 2 hectares are included in Branon. This is one of the oldest estates of Léognan, though unfortunately the chateau and cellars are a burnt out wreck. The red is vinified at Ch Bergey.
