There is a fine pale green tint to the colour and the bouquet has an elegance which was missing in the Savigny. A light pyrazine touch which is not at all unpleasing, green apples, but the overall effect is ripe enough and carries through well. Drink from 2024-2027"
Domaine Jean Chartron dates from 1859 and is now run by the 5th generation of the family, Jean-Michel looks after the winery whilst his sister Anne-Laure manages the vineyards. With 13 hectares, including Grand Cru’s and 1er Cru Monopole vineyards, they are an important vineyard proprietor in Puligny and have long been one of the high profile Domaines of the village. Jean-Michel and Anne-Laure are producing outstanding wines.
