A blend of several vineyards. Mid lemon yellow, this is quite a refined Puligny, with a bit of backbone, not too much flesh, more citrus zest, but fair length into the bargain. Nicely done. Fresh citrus finish. Drink from 2024-2028"
Domaine Jean Chartron dates from 1859 and is now run by the 5th generation of the family, Jean-Michel looks after the winery whilst his sister Anne-Laure manages the vineyards. With 13 hectares, including Grand Cru’s and 1er Cru Monopole vineyards, they are an important vineyard proprietor in Puligny and have long been one of the high profile Domaines of the village. Jean-Michel and Anne-Laure are producing outstanding wines.
