"Clean and bright, fresh cut grass Sauvignon Blanc, fleshy texture and ripe mouthwatering finish, very good volume of fruit, super refreshing - lovely"
The Bougrier family have been in the Loire for 6 generations and have vineyard holdings along the whole of the Loire valley. They produce classy, stylish wines of great quality, but always reflecting the individual terroir of the location.
In 1988 Noel Bougrier re-energised and expanded the family estate which he now runs with his son Nicolas. and daughter Sophie. They are determined to reveal the best expression of the Loire Valley and have been rewarded with many accolades and medals.
This Touraine comes from family vineyards in the prized Touraine-Mesland, (A tiny area with its own appellation on the right bank of the Loire, just downstream from Blois and opposite Château de Chaumont), this Sauvignon Blanc is quite delicious.
