Good value early drinking dry white Bordeaux, always well polished and easy to enjoy.

The 2020 Ferran Blanc is a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon, weighing in at around 13% alcohol. It skips out of the glass with cheery notes of fresh pineapple, white peaches and lemon tart, plus touches of lime leaves and grapefruit peel. The light to medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled and refreshing, delivery bags of bright citrusy flavors and a chalky finish."
Robert de Ferran, solicitor at the Bordeaux Parliament, gave his name to this vineyard followed by Montesquieu, philosopher winegrower, owner of the domaine in the 18th century. This terroir has always produced red and white wines which were then known as 'Premiers Graves Martillac'. The property has belonged to another old Bordelais family since 1880, and today the descendants of Joseph Beraud-Sudreau, Philippe and Ghislane Lacoste, have been managing the estate since 1999.
A lot of work has been done in recent years to restructure the vineyard and renovate the cellars which have resulted in numerous medals and good scores given by wine writers, particularly during the en primeur tastings.
