"Intense aromas resemble ripe cherries and raspberries that combined with the slight vanilla give elegance and fineness to this wine. In mouth, it appears soft and silky, with rounds tannins. It is a wine of a medium structure, thought for a short guard, because the freshness and smoothness are its major virtue.
James Suckling: 91 Points
A firm, lightly chewy red with cherry and blackberry aromas and flavours. Some walnuts. Medium body. Flavourful finish. Drink or hold."
Aguaribay Malbec is produced from a 100ha vineyard near Vista Flores, 120km south of Mendoza, Argentina. This vineyard is owned and managed by Edmond de Rothschild Compagnie and the grapes are vinified at the Flechas de Los Andes winery. Named after the tree of the same name that grows in and protects the vineyard, the Aguaribay Malbec completes a trio of three wines created from this vineyard, and represents a single varietal blend of Malbec.
