Château Siaurac is the biggest and most impressive property in the appellation, with its 46 hectares almost in one piece, on an extension of the Pomerol plateau. This was always an impressive property but since the recent investment from the Artemis Group, there is even greater ambition.
Penelope Godefroy is technical director across Siaurac, Vray Croix de Gay and Le Prieuré and is leading the team in the conversion to biodynamic viticulture.
The Plaisir de Siaurac is a lovely 100% Merlot entry wine made with little or no wood and is delicious. The Château Siaurac is more structured and the 2009 is drinking perfectly now
