"A dry, light bodied crisp wine with gooseberry, passionfruit and nettles. Perfect as an every day drinker, on its own or with salads, seafood or chicken."
This wine delivers all you’d expect from a New Zealand Sauvignon and great value too. Soft gooseberries, passionfruit and a hint of green tea combine in the exuberant bouquet which culminates in a long, fruity finish. Made at the Saint Clair Family Estate owned by Neal and Judy Ibbotson and vinified by Matt Thomson, White Winemaker of the Year at the London International Wine Challenge in 2008. Sealed with a screwcap.
The fruit for this wine was sourced from a selection of vineyards around
Marlborough. The grapes are pressed off with minimal skin contact and then cool fermented in stainless steel to retain its naturally fruity character
