"A harmonious wine with a fresh, fruity and delicate aroma, where the presence of tropical fruits and white flowers is evident. On the palate, Quinta da Aveleda offers a long and persistent finish. This is a delightful aperitif, the perfect drinking white."
Quinta da Aveleda honor a long family tradition of winemaking. The Guedes family founded the winery in 1671, and still own it today. On the label, you can see the Family House, which is still in use. The wine is created and produced in the Quinta da Aveleda estate. Every year, the best grapes of the most famous varieties of this region are selected such as Loureiro, Trajadura and Alvarinho. These grapes come from the 160ha of vines and the production is controlled in order to produce a high quality Vinho Verde.
Only the best grapes are selected for this Vinho Verde. The grapes are pressed at low temperatures, then the must is clarified and fermented at controlled temperatures by selected yeasts. The wine stays in contact with the lees in stainless steel tanks, obtaining more complexity. Before bottling the wine is filtered and cold stabilised.
