"This wine looks relatively simple but is packed with flavours of flowers and fresh grapes. The nose is quite honied from very ripe grapes but the wine itself is dry. Melons, grapes, lime and peaches abound on the palate. Really good!"
Cafayate is at an altitude of 1700 metres which results in a cooler climate which is suitable for growing grapes for white wines. 'Cuma' means clean and pure in the Aymara language (a people who inhabited Cafayate before the Incas). Michel Torino has 400 hectares of vineyards in Cafayate with an average age of 30 years. The vines are certified organic.
