American Businessman H Ward Lay set up Andeluna in 2003, with the help of the Reina Rutini family, who have been growing grapes in Argentina for 120 years. Andeluna now has 80ha at altitudes between 1000m and 1300m at the base of Mt Tupungato. Chief winemaker Silvio Alberto says Malbecs from this region show wonderful minerals and spices and sweet tannins. Consultant oenologist is Michel Rolland.
